Job Summary
The Deputy Head of Construction & Technical Services will be responsible for assisting in the overall management and direction of the construction and technical services department. This includes overseeing project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing budgets and resources, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The Deputy Head will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

Core Function
- Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable (LMA)
- Construction Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction and technical services projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Safety and Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality assurance measures across all projects.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets and resources, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the construction and technical services team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years experience in construction and technical services management, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Computer literate
